When a listing is verified by GoodPlace, it means that we have done the due diligence to make sure that it is not a fake listing which is created in order to lure in buyers (usually to be cross-sold by agents). Our verification process involves calling up sellers to check for authenticity and to get feedback on agent reputation in order to ensure the legitimacy and the timeliness of the listings.
We have first highlighted the problem of fake listings in property portals in this blog post at GoodPlace.my.
While we may be able to weed out a majority of fake listings this way, there will inevitably be some which will slip through the cracks despite our extensive filtering process. As such, please do your own due diligence. Despite our best effort, we cannot guarantee the timeliness and the accuracy of the listings. Thank you for understanding.
