Tropicana Corp will be launching its Fairfield Residences (the first phase of Tropicana Heights@Kajang development) on Saturday from 10am to 10pm at its showroom in Semenyih, Kajang (Google map here). At nearly 200 acres, Tropicana Heights@Kajang will be developed over a span of ten years, with two phases planned to roll out every year. Fairfield Residences will be the first to be rolled out in 2014.

Tagged with a gross development value (GDV) of RM250 million, Fairfield Residences covers some 25 acres and will consist of some 289 units of landed properties priced from RM736,000 onwards. These are two- to three-storey linked houses with built-up sizes from 2,135 to 3,213 sq ft. Each unit is equipped with a water heater as well as air-conditioned units.

The yet-to-be-named second phase of Tropicana Heights@Kajang will feature semi-detached and cluster homes. The township will also feature a clubhouse with facilities such as swimming pools, tennis and badminton courts as well as food outlets. A 750m linear lake will be the highlight of the township. Tropicana Heights@Kajang is freehold property.

ecoworldEcoWorld has announced the plans to launch of two townships: the EcoSpring and EcoSummer – both to be located in the Tebrau growth corridor in Johor. EcoSpring sits on a 400-acre land and will consist of semi-detached homes and bungalows styled after English cottages. The neighbouring EcoSummer comprises of double-storey terrace homes on 200 acres of land. Combined, both townships boast of a GDV of some RM5 billion.

EcoSpring is priced at RM1 million onwards with 200 units for sale, while EcoSummer units are priced relatively lower at RM650,000 onwards.

Tropicana Heights KajangKajang is seen to be one of the “fringe”y areas that will see spillover growth given the saturation of developments in the Kuala Lumpur city. In fact, during the boom period in the last 16-24 months, properties in Kajang have appreciated by 20% or more. Tropicana Heights@Kajang is one of Tropicana’s ongoing developments, with other high profile projects in Penang (notably the 218 Macalister) as well as in the Iskandar region (Tropicana Danga Cove & Tropicana Danga Bay).
