Citadines Waterfront Launched In Kota Kinabalu

Ascott Ltd has launched the Citadines Waterfront in Kota Kinabalu – a 253-unit serviced apartment project with a gross development value of nearly RM100 million. Units come in different sizes from 377 sq ft (I kid you not) to 1,076 sq ft, with different layouts to choose from: studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units; they all come with fully-equipped kitchens. As its namesake suggests, it faces the sea; tenants will have the luxury of waking up to the view of the South China Sea. What’s there not to like?

Facilities include a rooftop garden, a gym, swimming and wading pools as well as multi-functional rooms. Also in the development pipeline are a mall, supermarket, commercial outlets as well as offices. Nearby amenities include the KK Plaza mall as well as the Kota Kinabalu Central Market.

The Citadines Waterfront is slated to be completed in 2018.

Ascott (part of Singapore’s CapitaLand) is perhaps well known for its serviced apartments in KLCC: namely the Somerset as well as The Ascott on Jalan Pinang. According to our sources, Ascott has got plans to launch even more Sometset’s in Malaysia: in Medini Nusajaya, Johor as well as in Damansara Uptown.
