Bora Residences, Tropicana Danga Bay

Tropicana has launched the second phase of the Tropicana Danga Bay integrated project in Iskandar dubbed theBora Residences last weekend. This launch came at the tail of the unveiling of the first phase (Tropez Residence) where the take up rate was reportedly now at a healthy 90%. Bora Residences is situated in the southern part of the Tropicana Danga Bay.

Tropicana Danga Bay is Tropicana’s largest project in the Iskandar region, boasting a gross development value of more than RM8 billion. Located inside the prime Zone A of the Iskandar region, the mixed development is on 37 acres of freehold land.

TRECThe plans for TREC (“Taste, Relish, Experience, Celebrate”) was recently unveiled last week, providing KL city property enthusiasts a glimpse into the future of a lifestyle and entertainment hub located at the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX). Purportedly the country’s first “purpose-built”, one-stop entertainment district (think Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong and Boat Quay in Singapore), TREC occupies seven acres of land located near Zouk. There will be more than 200,000 square feet of space, housing some 77 units of retail and entertainment outlets.

Phase one of TREC is scheduled to complete in 2015, with a grand launch planned for the middle of that year.

Hot at the heels of the launch of The Rise bungalows (which we have profiled here), GuocoLand has held a preview of its DC Residency project, located at Damansara Heights. The first integrated development in the heart of Damansara Heights, Damansara City will also feature a shopping mall, offices as well as a hotel. The development occupies more than eight acres of premium land at Damansara Heights.

DC Residency is a luxury condominium consisting of two towers, housing some 370 units of service apartments. With sizes ranging from 899 to 2,705 square feet, there are one bedroom, 3+1 bedroom units and penthouses to choose from. Nadayu MelawatiNadayu Properties has announced plans to launched a new phase in its flagship Nadayu Melawati at Taman Melawati. Nadayu62 are semi-furnished apartments priced from RM612,000, with sizes from 950 sq ft to 2,105 sq ft. Positioned to target the middle income segment, the prices are deemed to be competitive especially for a outer city condominium (it’s about 15km from the centre of Kuala Lumpur). 🙂

To be completed in 2017, there will be 182 units in the offing, and each apartment comes with a rather impressive list of furnishings, namely water heaters, air conditioning units, lighting as well as built-in kitchens and wardrobes. Nadayu Melawati is surrounded by the Kemensah Forest Reserve, and boasts of lush greenery and a tranquil environment. Nadayu Properties will next launch a SoHo project (338 units) inside Nadayu Melawati, targeted to be unveiled in the middle of 2014.
